The GA-72 Cd features a Polarity screen which can read the difference between the top and bottom of articles buried in the ground. Audio signal and 3-digit LCD readout means you can actually differentiate depth when locating items of the same size, such as cast iron bells on subsurface transmission lines. The GA-72Cd Locator detects the magnetic field of iron and steel objects and energized power lines. It provides audio detection signals that peak in frequency when the locator's tip is held directly over the target. The GA-72Cd has the option of nulling or peaking. Gain control 'clicks' on to power levels giving the operator stable search conditions. Constant battery level meter. Optional headphone output jack and volume control. Custom formed carry case protects this valuable instrument.
