SONOSCOPE

Sonoscopes should be in every water utililty truck.  Placed against the ear while touching the metal stem against wrenches, hydrants or valves the sonoscope will transfer any audible leak sounds into the operators ear.  Regular use promotes leak awareness and can prevent costly long term leaks.
