5-708 Jelly Bean Pump

Another Exclusive product

Pump Jelly Beans?  Not really, but, what this pump does is push a wad of bunched Jelly Beans through house services to unplug the Corporation Stop at the Water Main where scale and build up occur which has severely decreased the flow of water to the customer.  The process is done from the cellar valve without having to dig or shut down the Water Main or Water Service.

The process was applied and developed by Water Departments in the New England  area and has been in use for years and passed down through the generations.

Regular jellybeans are placed in the water service and the discharge hose from the pump is mounted to the service line in the cellar.  As the pump is operated the flow and pressure push the "load" through the service to the corporation stop. When the load reaches the obstruction the  Jellybeans used form a plug at the build up in the Corporation Inlet and as the pump is hand operated the pressure builds up in the line until the Jellybeans blow the stoppage out of the corporation stop.  The water main can then be flushed as needed to remove the candy from the line.

Pump has a capacity of 400 PSI and can also be used to pressure test water lines or irrigation systems.  Pump comes mounted on a foot board with a pressure piped manifold which includes a 1,000 psi gauge to monitor pressure, 8' pressure hose, 8' suction hose and bypass bleed off valve to measure flow after the line has been pumped, and a complete instruction booklet. All materials made in USA.
