All of these pictures are from the same town.
These fiberglass markers were mounted after the
steel ones were already on the hydrant. Which ones would
be visible in the next snow storm????
Fiberglass becomes more brittle with age and U.V. light. There is no way to stop this aging. As you can see, even the springs could not keep these markers from being snapped off.
